Mgnolia Ribbon Girl Challenge

Happy Easter everybody,

Hope you are having a lovely break.

Today I have made a card for the Ribbon Girl Magnolia only challenge

This is actually the only Magnolia stamp I own at the moment. I painted her with Distress markers and the papers I have used are a mixture of Maja Design vintage summer, vintage spring and my minds eye lost and found.

I have cut a magnolia tag from maja spring papers and placed it behind the image. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid crafts and the little happy birthday tag is also a magnolia die from the tea tag set.

A New Home

Good afternoon,

I hope you are all having a good day. I got all my house jobs done this morning and have been up in my little craft space this afternoon!!!

I have made a new home card today in pastel spring colours. I've even used my very precious Maja vintage spring papers!!! It was very difficult to cut up the first piece.

The little house is a stamp which I think I got free with a magazine ages ago, I have painted it with distress re-inkers. It has been cut out using a creatables fancy oval die. it has then been layered on a larger oval die cut and a doily. The pretty flower border is a memory box Fairytale flower die.

On the fence I have entwined the flowers to make it look like they are growing on the fence. The sentiment is a LOTV sentiment stamp.

It's easter weekend which means lots of crafting time.............. Enjoy.

Baby Pink

Good Morning,

Hope you are all well. It's a beautiful morning outside, for a change!

Today I am sharing a baby girl card. I have distressed the top layer of the card with the tim holtz distressing tool and torn it in a couple of places to allow the soft pink to show through from the bottom layer. The butterfly heart flourish and the baby sentiment have all been cut from baby pink velum. I think using velum gives a much softer colour.

The clothes on the line are from a LOTV A5 stamp sheet called the baby companion set. I have mounted these on two layers of the fancy oval die. The tiny tag with the babies feet on is a magnolia die along with the pull out tag, which I have decorated with ribbon and a heart shaped button.
The inside of the card is layered with maja design vintage summer basics and a large fancy oval.
The flowers on the inside of the card are a memory box die which I have cut out in tissue paper.

I hope you all have a good day.

Wedding Couple

Hello again,

As promised another card for you to see. It's not exactly as I want it. I don't think there is enough on this one. I need to perhaps add a sentiment.

The stamp is called Wedding Couple from LOTV. I have painted it with distress re-inkers. I have layered it on a couple of Go-kreate frilly frame 10.

There is also a doily tucked in behind too. The little bouquet is made up of roses , gypsophila and buds all from WIld Orchid Crafts.

I made a wax seal of a heart and backed it with cheesecloth.

Not one of my best attempts but I hope you like it.

Meant to Be

Good morning,

I hope you are all having a good weekend so far.

This morning I have been working on a card for the Lili's Little Fairies Spring Colour Challenge.

I have chosen subtle Spring colours rather than the normal bright colours.

I used Lili of the Valley Meant to Be stamp and coloured it using distress reinkers. The pretty floral border and the butterfly are memory box dies. Pipi Butterfly and Fairytale Floral border.

I have used a peach vintage seam binding behind the fancy oval. The Mulberry flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am in the mood to make more so I think I'll crack on with another one which hopefully I'll post later.

Enjoy your weekend.

Glamorous Gardening

Hi Everyone,

Back with a card today that I would like to enter into the Debbie Dolphin Candy challenge with a Pink theme and Sweet stampin Challenge, Lots of layers

The stamp is LOTV Glamorous Gardening. Such a cute image. I have used Distress reinkers to paint the image. The pot has been covered with glossy accents and all the sparkles you can see are stickles glitter. The layering mats are Go-Kreate frilly frame 10 and I have placed a cream doily behind them.  I have used several Doohickey dies the swirly butterfly, heart flourish and the heart tag which I have distressed with Stampin up sahara sand ink pad. I also stamped the heart with a marianne design Eline's clear stamp Airmail. I have also attached vintage seam binding and button twine to the heart along with a flower charm. The  The flowers are WOC and the tiny butterflies are punched with a Tonic punch.
The other open flower in the bottom right hand corner I think is a creatable die.

I'll be back hopefully over the weekend with a few more cards for you.

Hope you are all well

Sailing Boat

Good Afternoon All,

Today I have been working on a card for the March Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge, green and white.

I have used Lili of the Valley Sailing Boat stamp. I have paper pieced the sails on the boat and the little boys shorts. The rest of the image is painted with Distress reinkers. The little banner and cloud are both Magnolia dies and the little bird and the tiny boat and stars on the banner are quickutz dies.

I have used nestabilities labels to stamp the image on and have used Maja Design summer vintage as the backing paper. The little 2c stamp is from a stampin up rubber stamp set called postage due.

I have added a cap charm to the tiny tags and attached it with button twine from the Ribbon Girl.

On the inside of the card I have also used Maja paper and the same labels die as on the front. I have also popped on a sailing boat to add a bit of interest.

I hope you have all had a good weekend.

Gone Fishing

Hello again,

I'm being quite creative today!!! Two card posts in one day.

This one is a Lili of the Valley stamp called Gone Fishing. I'm not great at cards for men, I seem to really struggle with ideas. I have used distress inks to paint the image.

Anyway here we go, I've used Maja Design papers for the layering and the backing is Bazzill Basics card. The dies are the new Marrianne collectables. The tag with the pocket watch on is a Whiff of Joy banner tag.

I hope I'm giving enough information on my posts. I'd be really grateful for any comments on how to improve my blog. Please do comment if you can.

Thanks for looking

Flower Arranging

Good Morning,

Another beautiful day down here in the South West.

Today I have an Easter card for you to look at. The stamp once again is a Lili of the Valley spring stamp called flower arranging.

The backing paper is a Pink Petticoat paper Daisy bouquet. I have used a deep peach coloured Bazzill basics cardstock for the strip across the middle of the card. The resin flowers are a freebie from a cardmaking magazine and the paper flowers are from wild orchid crafts. I have also used a pretty crochet flower which I picked up in my local craft store. The button is attached in the middle with some button twine. The butterfly is punched with a tonic studio punch.

The Happy Easter tag was printed on my computer and then die cut with an oval tag die.
I have entered this card into the LLC Challenge for March.

I hope you like it, makes me feel more spring like.

The paper flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the little spirals I made with the flower stems after watching a Bev Rochester tutorial. Her Blog is Fab!!

Watering the Flowers

Hi Everyone,

Today I have another LOTV card for you. Watering the Flowers.
I have used Maja Design vintage summer papers, probably my all time fav papers.
The stamp has been coloured with Copic Markers. I have used glossy accents on the flower pot to make it look like a ceramic pot. The butterfly embellishments are a stampin up embosslit folder called Beautiful Wings.
The little square tag is a quickutz tag stamped with LOTV Happy Birthday postage stamp.

I hope you like it. I'm in the process of colouring my nieces Birthday card so  when I'm done I will pop it on here for you to have a look at.

The colours look quite a deep pink in the photos but in fact the flowers and the hat are actually quite a pale pink.

The yellow backing paper is a Pink Petticoat lattice pattern in soft Daffodil and the green papers are also Pink Petticoat.
The little tags are Quickutz and are attached with a Stampin up flower brad.

I would love to enter this card in Lili's Little Fairies card for Mother.
